+ My husband. Reconnecting with him was the best thing ever, and i'm proud to be his wife.
+ my dad and stepmom. Locating them changed my life for the better, and i'm so glad that they accepted me.
+ animals. I'm a softie for animals, and if i could own every animal in the world, i probably would.
+ reading. It's just great to be able to relax and get lost in a good book
+ cooking.
I HATE: (5 min)
+ frogs. i don't even know why, i just don't like them.
+ not knowing what i want to do. i can be very indecisive when it comes to big decisions.
+ getting bored. i feel like i'm wasting time when i'm bored and can't find anything to do
+ when bandit gets his hair all over the furniture. It's a pain to get it all off of the furniture
+ when i burn things while cooking.

+ cooking. My stepmother is a chef, so i learned how to cook from her.

FULL HISTORY:
Alexis was born to Alex Trenant and Dolores Umbridge. As a child, she didn't know her father even existed. Even to this day, she doesn't even know how her parents met. Her mother refused to tell her anything, and ruled the house with a heavy hand. Alexis was hesitant to act out in any way. By the time she was old enough to go to school, she couldn't wait to be out of the house. Her mother insisted she go to beauxbaton, but with some persuading, alexis was allowed to go to hogwarts.
Alexis started hogwarts, and was sorted into ravenclaw. She was excited to explore the little bit of independance that she could get at school, but this "dream" was smashed almost immediately. Upon arriving at the school, she found out that her mother was going to be at the school also, a sneaky attempt by the ministry to overthrow the headmistress and clean out the staff they felt were no longer able to teach. She didn't make many friends...people didn't want to be associated with an umbridge.
After she started school, alexis wanted to find out about her father. She began to do research, careful not to alert her mother to any of this. As she tried to find her father, she found out about her mother's own sketchy past. She wondered if the ministry had seen any of this stuff, especially the parts about her "discipline" tactics, that were inhumane. She eventually turned the information over, and by the summer came around, a trial was held, and her mother was jailed for her inhumane practices.
After the trial, alexis was approached by a member of the ministry, offering to help her find her father. It turned out, he was actually a worker at the ministry. He never knew about alexis, so he was confused when the two were introduced. Once the idea of him being a father finally sunk in, he welcomed her with open arms. He had married a woman named julia, and while they had tried to start a family, it was discovered that julia could not have children. Julia was quick to make alexis feel welcome, and making it that much easier for alexis to adapt.
She was able to continue through school with little problems. She was very smart, and graduated one of the top of her class. At the time of graduation, she had wanted to puruse a career with magical creatures, and even worked with the ministry a little as they developed a tracking device for endangered species. she soon grew bored of that, and decided she no longer wanted to do that.
She went through many jobs, trying to find her niche, but was unsucessful. She eventually took a part time job at a bookstore, and ran into julius snape. The two had been best friends during school, and she had even liked him at one time. turned out, he liked her, and the two started dating for a bit. He eventually proposed to her, and they were married in a small ceremony with close family and friends.
