CHARACTER'S PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
At times he looks a lot older than what he really is, its probably from all the wrinkles he has acquired from being angry all the time. He rarely smiles and when he does it looks smug or evil. He is balding a bit. His hair it grey now. He always has a scowl on his face. He has a very real and threatening presence when he enters a room. There is something about that stare of his that makes you shiver.

FULL HISTORY:
When Burton was a child he was always reading books. He had this desire to know everything he could. He had a love for law from the start and would play judge or lawyer at home with his pet cat Horas or little sister Paige (she was usually the defendant and hated every minute of it). He was always studying up on something. He wanted to be a genius prodigy. Burton looked up to his older brother. He was a bully to his little sister. When his parents who were very wealthy would entertain and there were other children the house, Burton had ahard time behaving. He'd always find something pick on.
When Burton was accepted to Hogwarts he couldn't be more excited. Burton was sorted into Ravenclaw house and felt really good about it. He began school the year after one of the Weasley clan was abducted and put in the Chamber of Secrets. Rumors were spreading of Voldemort's return. He didn't believe all the tales at first. In his fourth year he wasn't shocked to hear that his potions teacher - Severus Snape had killed Dumbledore. No one liked the git, well Burton sort of did. He admired the way he was able to demand order. Burton knew a bully when he saw one, he also knew a liar and there was something about Severus that screamed to Burton that Snape was conning that old wizard Dumbledore. He was shocked though when he realized that the rumors of the Dark Lord's return were real. He hated deatheaters- mostly because they were a competition to him for power. Burton wanted all the power, and how could he if the world was in anarchy because some demon and his hooded followers were reaking havoc?
After Burton graduated from Hogwarts he got a job at the ministry in the law enforcement office. He began his training as a lawyer. He hoped one day he'd become a judge. He met a woman on his lunch break who had crazy purple hair. He didn't like it at all but something about her he couldn't resist. They fell in love, were married and soon had an armful of kids. He was admitted into the Wizengamot with the dream that he'd eventually be head warlock. As the years went on Burton became a power house in the law community of British wizards. He became known as the "Unbeatable Burton" because he always won his cases. No one could beat the clever skill of Burton.
Burton has been aggravated by the recent acts of deatheaters who are trying to bring chaos back to the wizarding world. He couldn't believe when he lost two cases concerning the two youngest children in the Slytherin family and their dealings with Deatheaters. He has just won the seat of Minister of Magic. He is on a rampage now to rid the world of these deatheaters. He wants order and complete control. Burton wants people to respect and fear him, not these cloaked hoodlums. He isn't giving any mercy to any one who is found being suspicious in any nature.
Burton's main goal at the moment is to have the ministry completely over take Hogwarts. He doesn't think the current Headmistress - Kristine Prelwitz Linford is up to parr. In fact Burton has reasons to believe that she not only being merciful to the traitors but aiding them. He wants this to end quickly. It doesn't bother him one bit that the woman who is number one on his hit list is the wife of his secretary... though he is currently searching for loopholes to fire Kenji Linford for someone more competent and on track with his goals as Minister of Magic.
Everyone needs to decide whether they will side with the Minister and stay in his good graces, or if they will run and hide from his authority and power to lock them away in Azkaban forever or if they will be brave an oppose his authoritarian rule and tyrannical order.
