After Boa was kidnapped by deatheaters, her family took in Braeden Trafford as their foster child. His father was a deatheater but he was good boy who wanted to live a fresh clean life. He is very much a part of the family. Lyra currently has a handful of nieces and nephews with several on the way.
Her dad is a descendant of Salazaar Slytherin the co-founder of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as well as a distant relative of Lord Voldemort. Her grandparents were Salazaar Slytherin XI and his wife Rena. They had 4 children; Salazaar XII, Boa's father- Dorian, Darth (whereabouts unknown) and Dante who has emerged as he new Dark Lord. Salazaar XI was an evil man who was one of the top Deatheaters of his time though he was able to avoid being locked away until his later years. He died in prison by the dementors kiss for the crimes he committed.

When Lyra was 11 her parents let her go to France to study at a muggle boarding school. It was the school that her mother's sister in-law, her aunt Meghan taught dance at. Her aunt Meghan -though a wizard was from a muggle family. Lyra loved going to school in France. She studied many languages and became fluent. Lyra also studied fashion and learned how to make her own clothes. Soon she was designing like crazy.
When Lyra graduated at age 17, as is normal for muggles she went back home. She attended a muggle college in London where she pursued her fashion interests and took more language courses. All through high school and college Lyra went through so many boyfriends she began to lose hope that she'd ever find anyone. All her boyfriends weren't as interested in her as she was in them. They weren't the right kind of guys.
When Lyra met Talon Gallagher she almost written off men completely so gave him a bit of a hard time. She was done with relationships and didn't want to get into another just for it to end in heartache. Talon was persistent though and he began to grow on her. He was so adventurous and amazing. Lyra was afraid to let him know that she was a squib so made every effort to hide it from him. When he found out, he didn't care but wished she'd been honest from the start. His sincerity and gentle heart won her over. They began dating steadily. Lyra's younger sister Quinn gave Talon heck. Lyra kept her cool but on the inside she couldn't help but feel frustrated.
Talon kept hinting at proposal and though she loved him and wanted a family she wasn't sure if she was really comfortable with herself to be married. She started having all these doubts and her sister still seemed to hate him. When Talon finally proposed to her she couldn't say "no" and it wasn't just because she is a push over. She wanted to be with Talon more than anything else.
Lyra had to deal with seeing deatheaters return and her family being right in the middle of it all. Its been a scary ride but she is thankful that everyday her family is safe. Her shop was doing great, its still doing well but because of all the chaos with deatheaters and the ministry's paranoia everyone has been having a hard time. Lyra and Talon have 2 kids, a son Gerard and a daughter Piper.
