Remmy was surprisingly refreshed that morning as she wandered into the great hall and sat down at one of the tables. She spied in the distance the Ravenclaw boy she had a crush on and rolled her eyes when she noticed that, of course, his nose was again in a book as he ate. She picked out a few things to eat from in front of her, and filled her glass with pumpkin juice. She hoped that someone would be by to talk with, as she had been feeling pretty lonely, missing her dad.
That's when the letter came flying onto the table for her. She opened it and read with delight.
My dearest Remmy,
I will be coming to Hogwarts very soon, as they have approved my teaching of Ancient Runes. I know you have that class this year, so I will be looking forward to seeing you. I have missed my sweet little girl, though I guess you are not so little anymore, are you?

Remmy closed the letter and felt renewed hope for the year. It was going to be great having her dad back in the picture. Musing, she ate her eggs and drank her juice.
